Does Mumio contain steroids?

Steroids contained in Mumio are NOT anabolic steroids. The word "steroids" is a misused term and it is the same case as when medicine is called a "drug". For most people, the word steroid is associated with preparations for unnatural muscle growth or bodybuilding.

"Steroids" in Mumio are natural organic compounds (alkaloids, vitamins, acids,...). Therefore these are not anabolic steroids, such as testosterone and its artificial derivatives but totally natural biologically active substances. Mumio therefore can be used, and it is used by athletes, with clean doping tests.

Interestingly – the best known and most widely used steroid is cholesterol ("the good one").
