Colitis, enterocolitis, proctitis, sphincteritis
Mumio is effective for treating chronic non-specific colitis (including ulcerative), chronic entero-colitis, catarrhal-erosive proctitis, hemorrhoids (see application for hemorrhoids). Colitis is inflammation of the large intestine, enterocolitis is inflammation of the small and large intestine, proctitis is inflammation of rectum, sphincteritis is inflammation of the rectal sphincter.
Mumio eliminates pain, cramps, bloating, digestive disorders, normalizes bowel movements and increases appetite. It has anti-inflammatory effect and stimulates tissue regeneration. The overall condition improves, malaise disappears, appetite is restored.
After application of Mumio number of pathogenic microbes in the intestine is radically reduced. Mumio can completely heal intestinal mucosa during nonspecific ulcerative colitis: the erosion, small ulcers and ulcer defects of the colon mucosa disappear. Symptoms disappear within 4–5 days up to the full recovery around tenth day. Regenerative capacity of the colon during non-specific ulcerative colitis are however minimal.Although the clinical effect of Mumio is fast, complete elimination of the problem can be achieved only by regular re-application within a complex treatment.
In chronic enterocolitis the bleeding from erosion is stopped by the end of the second week and after 4–5 weeks the ulcers are healed. Stool and body temperature normalize within 2–4 weeks and the pain subsides. Mumio is applied as a part of a complex treatment.
Catarrhal-erosive or ulcerative proctitis and sphincteritis: after application of mumio inflammation and swelling of the mucosa of the colon disappear as well as erosions, ulcers heal, which leads to the elimination of spasms and pain.
Use:
- In ulcerative colitis and enterocolitis mumio is used internally: 0.1g of mumio three times a day for the period of 30–35 days and 20 days for non-ulcer form. It is also necessary to introduce mumio enemas. Composition and preparation of enema: just before use dissolve 0.3g of mumio in 30 ml warm boiled water. The resulting aqueous solution of mumia is for single use only.
- In proctitis and sphincteritis mumio is applied 3 times a day as microenemas, 20 days in catarrhal-erosive proctitis and sphincteritis or 30–35 days for ulcerative form. Composition and preparation of enema: just before use dissolve 0.1 g of mumio in 10ml of warm boiled water. The resulting aqueous solution of mumia is for single use only. Due to its properties mumio regulates bodily functions. For example ulcerative colitis could lead to changes in the liver and damage that can lead to chronic active hepatitis. Mumio regulates metabolic and structural changes in the liver, among others normalizes the production of glycogen and proteins, prevents fat accumulation in the liver (steatosis), and regulates the production and release of lipoproteins in the blood. Before application of mumio intestinal flora contains a significant amount of decay and pus forming microbes that do not occur in healthy intestines. After application of Mumio number of pathogenic microbes is drastically reduced.
